Rant – Warfare in space

Warfare in space is mathematics. Living and dying by the clock.

Warfare in space is a race of clocks against each other. Biding time and lines of code.

Warfare in space is quiet eyes confronting one another, eye for eye with best of luck.

Warfare in space is strict mechanics, laws of physics and logistics.

Warfare in space is chasing information, this decides on all.

Warfare in space is cold calculations trading values on all present, hidden and on display.

Warfare in space is lore and legends, tales of spirit, lights blinding before the fall.

Warfare in space is a game of numbers, nothing human on the board.

There is meaning in that old soldier’s ranting – hurry, wait – shut up. With all that has been done, we’re at the mercy of each other.

No glory in this icy dance of fire. Silence rules us all.
