Desert of Man

Writing. Culture. Politics. Wandering.

An interview with a, well, me

I received the opportunity to be interviewed by Leonardo Ramirez, as part of his SFHC Author Feature series. It was fun, interesting, though he did have a few tough questions that made me think. His focus? The person behind the writing, meeting the human being and his or her take on the state of the human condition.

As I said, it was an interesting approach. Different than most interviews, but it is good to consider our human perspective every once in a little while. Gives pause to think. Especially when combined with a distinct focus on our work as creators.

  • It’s not easy to do what we do as creators. What keeps you going?
  • Why did you become a creator? What got you started?
  • What hope do you want to bring to the world through your work?
  • What are you working on now? Tell us all about it.
  • What makes you happy?
  • What is the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do?
  • What’s important in your life?
  • If you had only one day to live, how would you live it?
  • What’s wrong with the world?
  • Who are your heroes and why?
  • If you had all the money you needed to never work again, would you still create?
  • If your life were a motion picture, what would the title be?

Curious? Have a read! And if you are a writer – get featured by Leonardo!
